Samsung Galaxy Note Review

The Samsung Galaxy Note introduces a whole new class of handset which comes with a huge 5.3” display. Internally, we know this as a “fablet”, even so the Galaxy Note has truly been designed as a handet. Intrinsically it is pocketable (yes, even during jeans pants), could make calls and just about acts just like a big Galaxy S2 – we feel that it is often a parallel this is the easy solution to think about the Galaxy Note.

Near the obvious difference in space, the Samsung Galaxy Note also comes with a stylus. As you know, this feature has brought a light success before, however , many consumers are much more comfortable with a stylus, therefore you’ll note that the Galaxy Note’s size does customize the stylus game in comparison with its ancestors. Finally, the AT&T flavor with the Galaxy Note features 4G LTE – but in addition HSPA+, and 3G, that is a nice, gradual slope in terms of network performance. With this review, covers how it feels make use of the Samsung Galaxy Note in real life. Ready?

What’s new?
What’s different from the International/European model?

The European version isn't 4G LTE, it gets HSPA+ and yes it runs a single.4 Ghz Samsung Exynos dual-core processor. So as to offer 4G LTE, the US model is equipped with a Qualcomm SnapDragon dual-core APQ 8060 1.5 Ghz. Other features offer a similar experience in the models. Check our benchmark within the Performance paragraph below to view how a processors compare in term of device responsiveness and gratifaction.

The most significant addition with the Galaxy Note than the SII may be the ability to work with a pen for writing text and drawing. To avoid users to constantly switch from pen to finger, the Samsung engineers implemented a gesture UI within the stylus that could replace the physical buttons back and home: while holding the button about the pen, swipe from your bottom in the screen from any applications revisit your house screen, or swipe from straight away to left to return to the prior screen.

Unlike Palm’s hand writing technology, users need not be taught a specific alphabet with specific shapes/getsures to achieve the device recognize what they already want to post. And you have to write which with clean shapes, otherwise the letters aren't going to be recognized – I (Eliane) have a handwriting that even humans cannot read well, and so i guess that the Galaxy Note can help me improve thereon side of things. For fast typers, while using the keyboard may well be more efficient. To change from conventional keyboard to hand writing using the stylus, hit the important thing using a “T” as well as a pen. The hand writing function will stay on across all applications that include typing text.
